Ruins of Hollinshead Hall (2)
The hall was built in 1776 on the site of an earlier farmhouse, and remained in the Hollinshead Family until 1845.
The property was then sold to Eccles Shorrock, a Blackburn mill owner.
By the early 1900's Hollinshead Hall had fallen into disrepair. The buildings were knocked down, except for the restored Well House.
It is now a ruin, although it is possible to trace the floor plan.
