The track, which is not a public right of way, passes the ruins of High Whinhowe on its way to meet the minor road between Ewelock Bank and Midwath Stead. The public bridleway (much less distinct) crosses it at right angles on its way from Greenholme and Low Whinhowe to reach the same minor road about 400m further south.
