Plymouth Breakwater Fort
This small fort was constructed between 1861 and 1865 although it was not fully armed until 1880. Its foundations are on Shovel Rock just north of Plymouth breakwater. It was not decommissioned until 1976, latterly serving for anti-aircraft training.
