taken 19 years ago, near to Horsham, West Sussex, England

Chesworth Farm, Horsham
Chesworth Farm, Horsham
The building is believed to be the converted remnants of the moated Chesworth House which previously stood on the site. Chesworth House had a couple of royal connections; it was the home of Catherine Howard during her adolescence and it was confiscated by the crown in 1572 when its owner, the Duke of Norfolk, was implicated in the plot involving Mary, Queen of Scots, to overthrow Elizabeth I. The house was left fall into ruins before being converted into a farm in the 18th century.
