Bears of Sheffield: #40 Hendo's Bear
#40 of 61 big bear sculptures, this one is sponsored by Henderson's Relish and was decorated by Oli Frape. It is located opposite the old Henderson's Relish factory on Portobello Street.

Hendo’s Bear features a collection of words chosen by Henderson’s that are significant to their brand. The design is hand-lettered using the distinctive and recognisable orange and black brand colours. I can confirm that Henderson's Relish is 'Reyt Good'.

The sculpture is situated in the same location as one of the 'Herd of Sheffield' in 2016, which had the same sponsor SK3487 : Herd of Sheffield: Hendophant
Bears of Sheffield

Bears of Sheffield is a public arts exhibition celebrating Sheffield and its surrounding area. Coordinated by The Children's Hospital Charity, the trail brings together businesses, communities, artists and schools whilst supporting Sheffield Children’s Hospital. The Bears have been brought to life by artists of all ages, both professional and amateur, and they arrived in the city in July 2021.

The Bears of Sheffield showcases 60 large and 100 little bear sculptures in both indoor and outdoor locations.

The bears are raising funds through sponsorship and donations to help transform the Cancer and Leukaemia ward at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
