Shotton Surface Mine & Information Board

Shotton surface mine seen shortly after mining mining ceased in summer 2020. The area is now being restored with the bulk returning to agriculture. Additional woodland and grassland is being added with new public access routes.
The adjacent Northumberlandia was created with material from the mine.
