Erosion and mass wasting of foreshore bank at Boddin, Angus
Exposed soil on the foreshore bank underneath the ruined row of fisher cottages and the adjacent Scout bothy indicate that erosion is taking place here. The vegetation above the bank face is being undercut and the vertical bank allows mass wasting and gravity to transport the eroded material to a lower level on the beach,
