Immediately outside the tower at St Michael's Church, Spennithorne is a Celtic-type wheel cross with a decorated shaft. At the base of the shaft is the word "REMEMBER". Unfortunately, the inscription on the base is not legible.
The Church of St Michael and All Angels, Spennithorne

St Michael’s Church is Grade I listed (List Entry Number: 1179485 LinkExternal link Historic England). It was built in the 12th century with additions in the 13th and 14th centuries and sits on the site of a Saxon church. It consists of a south entrance porch with north and south aisles, a nave, chancel and vestry, and a small chapel where the organ is sited.
