Sebastopol Cross and Base, St Michael's Churchyard
The cross was originally on the roof of the chapel of the White Barracks in Sebastopol, which was taken when the British forces sacked the town during the Crimean War in 1854. It was brought back to Spennithorne by General Sir Charles van Straubenzee of Spennithorne House, who commanded a brigade in the Light Division during the campaign. It is now mounted above the van Straubenzee family vault, and their names are engraved on the sides of the stepped stone base.

It is Grade II listed (List entry No:1318575 LinkExternal link Historic England).
