Businesses at the end of Corporation Street (part 2), Birmingham
Corporation Street (part 2) is between Old Square and this nondescript space where it has been severed and realigned to meet the north end of Steelhouse Lane, far right. These handsome buildings first appear on a map of 1905. Businesses here now are presumably serving people attending the courts back up the street, visitors to the Childrens' Hospital round the corner, and students from Aston University over the road. From left to right (with some help from Google Streetview) they are:
(In Ruskin Buildings)
Aunt Sally's Caribbean Food
Bubble, Dessert Lounge, shakes and waffles
Nisa Local convenience store and off-licence, open 24 hours
Chicken Hut
Dolce, coffee and desserts
(on the corner, in King Edward Building)
Celebz, burgers, shakes, chicken, desserts.
