To the left is the grade II listed George and Dragon pub (list entry 1383990). Beyond it is a building still bearing the name Martins Bank Limited, although the company became part of Barclays as long ago as 1968. This branch apparently opened in 1898 as the Bank of Liverpool, being taken over by Martins in 1928 and closing in 1972. Source: Link
