Artie's Mill
Artie's Mill
Former Castlethorpe Mill built in 1804, stopped milling by wind after a fire on 10th November 1904 destroyed its 4 sails. Milling continued by steam power until c1960 when it fell into dereliction until rescued and converted to a pub & restaurant. The last miller was Arthur Johnson ... hence the name Artie's Mill
