Corridor of Light, The Pendulum Wave Machine
Corridor of Light, The Pendulum Wave Machine
The Pendulum Wave Machine was brought to Corridor of Light by “Travelling Light Circus”. The mechanical marvel is a fusion of science and art; twenty steel balls seem to float, like baubles of mercury, before being set in motion to become a harmonious wave as the silver spheres fall into line, hypnotically swinging back and forth.
Corridor of Light, October 2021

Corridor of Light was a three-night celebration of the Oxford Road Corridor through language, light and ideas. The aim was for visitors to explore Manchester’s innovation district as its stories were revealed by encounters with visual art, installations and live entertainment. The event was held on successive evenings; 21st, 22nd and 23rd October 2021.
