Two-thirds replica of the Sistine Chapel in Rome on the ceiling of the Church of the English Martyrs (see
TQ1002 : Church of the English Martyrs), painted by parishioner Gary Bevans between 1987 and 1993. The "windows", which are vertical in the original, are here part of the curved ceiling (as can be seen in
TQ1002 : Ceiling, Church of the English Martyrs) but have been painted with appropriate perspective to appear vertical from the side, as here.
