Redwick - Gwent Levels
Gwent Levels are a unique man-made landscape with an archaeological richness. The Levels were reclaimed from the sea from the Roman period onwards and have distinctive settlement patterns, enclosures and drainage systems. A coastal dyke now protects this area from the Severn Estuary.
Note Llanwern Steel Works in the middle distance.
