After Storm Arwen had subsided this helicopter flew low over the power lines at Birnieknowes where there was a power cut from Friday evening at 5.30pm. By Saturday evening a team of electricity workers had arrived with a cherry picker and several other vehicles. They worked continually for 4 hours in the dark wearing head torches while one man went up in the cherry picker to the top of a pole. Thankfully power was restored at 10pm that night.
