Priory Gatehouse, Bromfield
Dating from the 12th century with a 17th upper storey, this was the gatehouse to the Benedictine Priory here, up to the dissolution. Grade II* listed - see LinkExternal link.

The tower of the church of St Mary the Virgin, originally the Priory church (see SO4876 : St Mary the Virgin, Bromfield), can be seen over the wall.
