The memorial to several members of the Trotter family is unusual in its design with wing walls. Those commemorated include George (d.1781), his widow Dorothy (d.1818), son John William (d.1850, with a lengthy and florid epitaph typical of the period) and three unnamed children who died in infancy. The plaque below is unreadable even in the original high-resolution image.
