Locksway Road, Milton, Portsmouth

The houses on the right are built over the course of the Portsea Canal section of the Portsmouth and Arundel Canal. This was the least successful part of an unsuccessful enterprise, in use for about four years, although most of its remains east of Milton Road lasted for a considerable time.
