St Margaret's Church Buxted
The view here is looking north along the entrance drive to Buxted Park, the former home of the second and third Earls of Liverpool. To make way for a new deer park around 1836, under the third earl, the village dwellings were all demolished and the present-day village of Buxted created across the River Uck a mile away to the east.
