As part of the development of the recently opened Reading Hydro, a new and more natural looking fish weir stream has been creating, zig-zagging across part of View Island. Reading Hydro is a Community Benefit Society run hydropower scheme that generates renewable, low-carbon electricity from the power of the River Thames.
