The Gatehouse, Portmeirion
The gatehouse was built 1954-5 and was Sir Clough Williams-Ellis' first building at Portmeirion following the lifting of wartime building restrictions in 1954. It is Grade II-listed (Cadw reference 4873 Link

Portmeirion is a popular tourist village in Gwynedd, North Wales. It was designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975 in the style of an Italian village. Link
The village was used as the set in 1967 tv series "The Prisoner" tv-series Link, starring Patrick McGoohan.
Portmeirion is also famous for its pottery company which was co-founded by Susan Williams-Ellis, daughter of Clough Williams-Ellis, and her husband Euan Cooper-Willis.
