Church of St Aidan, Basford
Church of St Aidan, Basford
Opened in 1905 as a chapel of ease for the church of St Leodegarius, it became a District Chapelry within Basford Parish in 1910. Designed by local architects Robert Evans & Sons, the church consists simply of nave and aisles. The plans included a chancel, but lack of funds meant that this was never built.
