Pillar box, Belfast
A dual-aperture EIIR box (BT2 29A) outside the Post Office in Bedford Street. In the days before first and second class the left one was for Belfast addresses. The right for All Other Places. A lapsed practice was the placing of a sign on the top showing the direction of the nearest Post Office.
Postboxes, Belfast BT1-15

A series of photographs showing some of the postboxes within postcodes BT1-15. Link shows the postboxes in the rest of Northern Ireland.
