East Meon All Saints -the quire
East Meon All Saints -the quire
The quire and east window of the parish church of the village of East Meon in Hampshire, GU32 1NJ, located on the southern slopes of Park Hill in the South Downs.

Much of it is early 12th Century, the period distinguishable by the semi-circular arches (referred to nowadays, though not at the time, as "Romanesque" style) which were then superseded by pointed arches (of what later became known, though again not at the time, as the "Gothic" style).
