The pair of four-storey houses to its left, numbers 2 & 3 Great Hampton Street, are also listed buildings. According to the official listing at Historic England they were built in the 1840s and their upper storeys were converted into workshops - presumably for jewellers, as we are in the Jewellery Quarter - early in their history Link .
Number 4, to their left, is the Quality Works, which is not listed. It is in the Arts & Crafts style and looks very late 19th or early 20th century. The whole block is now being converted into luxury housing.
