Beacon Wayside bench - Newton, Birmingham
On your walk on the route of the Beacon Way you will find places to rest, such as this one. Litter bins too, although the best way is to take any litter you have back home with you. This will avoid overflowing bins and the effects on local wildlife as they rummage through what people have left behind them. The Beacon Way is a 25 mile/40 km route starting at Sandwell Park Farm SP 0191 and ending at Gentleshaw Common SK 0511. Walking southwards from this point will bring you to the Sandwell Valley Country Park. Time photo taken 3.32 pm BST (British Summer Time).
