Leat entering Chagford Open Field
The leat shown in SX7087 : Leat, Chagford finds its way beneath a wall and onto Hore Hill, which is how Link (Archive Link ) describes Chagford Open Field, as the notice on the gate has it. The leat, which can be seen crossing the field in the background (see SX7087 : Leat on Chagford Open Field) was used for irrigation.
