Stream on the beach, Horton

The little stream has breached the dunes and flows onto the beach. It provides a scale model of the geomorphological processes which cause the insides of river bends to be steep-sided due to erosion by fast-flowing water, while the outer edges of bends are usually shallow and have slow flow.
