NY9644 : Track branching from former railway

taken 3 years ago, 4 km NE of Rookhope, County Durham, England

Track branching from former railway
Track branching from former railway
Just west of the junction which connects the permissive traffic-free cycle route with the public road, a track branches south to service a line of grouse butts. This one seems to be a lot better surfaced than many of the other estate tracks (other than the main way to Boltslaw Incline, which is of this standard all the way).
