Old School House, number 34 High Street, is a former schoolmasters house. Built circa 1867, of squared, coursed limestone with ashlar dressings under a Collyweston stone slate roof. The tower on the right of the house is part of the former school and is seen at

Easton on the Hill is a village in the eastern tip of north Northamptonshire, some 2 miles southwest of Stamford. The village name means 'east farm/settlement' on the hill. Most working residents travel to Stamford or Peterborough.
