The bottom end and entry to the brickworks. The ropeway is not running today (jubilee holiday).
A loaded bucket has been left hanging on the rope (on the left, see SD5666 : Aerial ropeway, Claughton Brickworks). Presumably this enables the ropeway to be restarted by gravity.
