Flags at The Salt Barge
Flags at The Salt Barge
Opposite a salt works and adjacent to a canal, the Salt Barge would no doubt have had a steady trade from salt workers and bargees alike.
Nowadays, the salt works is a museum and the canal is used for holiday boating.
But the need for a nice pint or two stays the same.
The flags are still out from the Queen's Platinum Jubilee a few days ago.
