It was a hot day. Unsurprisingly, there were longer queues for ice cream and milkshakes than for burgers and pizzas.
Kirkstall Festival 2022
The Kirkstall Festival has been held since 1981 according to their website. It grew to a full weekend event in 2019 with 25,000 people attending, but after two years with no festival due to Covid-19, it was re-started in 2022 as a one-day event. It is organised by local people on a not-for-profit basis.
