Peebles, High Street: one time home of the Queensberry family (Rules of Boxing) and gifted to the Burgh in the 19th century by William Chambers - famous Scottish publisher of encyclopaedias and dictionaries. Contains the Museum, Library and Art Gallery, thanks to funding by Andrew Carnegie, the great Fife-born American billionaire philanthropist.
