Cottingham puffin
A large, colourfully-decorated seabird sculpture at the corner of Hallgate and King Street. Called 'Memories of the Seaside' and designed by artists Rachael and Phillippa Corcutt, it is one of 42 which form a trail called 'Puffins Galore' Link
extending the whole length of the East Yorkshire coast. This example is clearly one of a number which are positioned further inland.

Puffins Galore Trail 2022
Officially opened on July 2nd, 2022 the trail of forty-two artist decorated sculptures can be seen right along the East Yorkshire coast from Bempton to Spurn Point, with a few even migrating inland.
