taken 2 years ago, near to Battle, East Sussex, England

Beech Mill
Beech Mill
Originally Beech Furnace that operated here from 1568-1740. The site was then taken over by a Corn Mill which utilised the water powered facilities that had been left. The mill was working on Battle's 1859 tithe map but was marked as disused on the 1873 Os map. The former mill house is on the right. Now part of the Beech Estate.
