On the SE corner of Belhavel Lough, there is a concreted area where boats can be drawn up. There's a picnic table, and a notice exhorting people to clean their boats to stop the spread of Zebra mussels. The lowish promontory visible over the near area of the lake is named on the 1:50000 OS map as Harrison's Point.
