Settle Station (opened 1876), now Grade II listed, is full of period character and fittings from its Midland Railway days. Steam trains regularly stop here.
This is an occasional west coast line between Carlisle (72 miles) and London (236 miles), an alternative to the main line between Carlisle and Preston.
