ST4839 : Flooded fields by the River Brue

taken 17 years ago, near to Glastonbury, Somerset, England

Flooded fields by the River Brue
Flooded fields by the River Brue
As the Brue ST4838 : River Brue at Cradlebridge in March floods and other rivers rise, the surplus water spills over into the fields between Glastonbury and the river.
The water nearest the camera is the swollen river within its embankment; beyond are the flooded fields, a coupe of metres lower than the top of the embankment.
