Salford Quays is an area of Salford, near the end of the Manchester Ship Canal. Previously the site of Manchester Docks, it became one of the first and largest urban regeneration projects in the United Kingdom following the closure of the dockyards in 1982. The Imperial War Museum. The Lowry & MediaCityUk are all located in the area.

Nando's is an international casual dining restaurant chain originating from South Africa, with a Mozambican/Portuguese theme. Founded in 1987, Nando's operates about 1,000 outlets in 30 countries.It has nearly 300 in the UK.
Nando's specializes in chicken dishes with lemon and herb, mango and lime, medium, hot, extra hot or extra extra hot peri-peri marinades (properly known as Galinha à Africana). In some countries, Nando's has other flavour options such as Mediterranean.
