An L-plan country house with historic connections with the Ussher family, built as a replacement on a more elevated site for the old Cappagh House to the east. Built in 1875-7 for Richard John Ussher to designs by James Otway and Robert Graeme Watt, architects and engineers who were building the railway from Dungarvan to Mallow.
