Wearmouth Bridge
Main road bridge in Sunderland carrying the A1018 over the River Wear. The present bridge was rebuilt in 1927 on the site of the original bridge which dated from 1796. The cycle path carries the W2W (Walney to Wear) cycle route (National Cycle Network route 70).
