Seen from St Peter's Riverside, Wearmouth Bridge rebuilt in 1927 which carries the A1016 over the lower reaches of the River Wear. The Monkwearmouth Rail Bridge can also be seen, immediately upstream. To the left is the 11-storey Echo Apartment building.
