High Brigham: Arthouse and Memorial Hall
In the foreground is the Arthouse gallery and shop. It used to be a general store, and was once a Co-operative Society shop. The grey building next door is Brigham Memorial Hall, which dates from the 1920s. Beyond that, the white house (gable end showing) used to be the Appletree pub.
NY0830 : The Appletree Public House Note the Memorial Hall next to what was the Appletree pub.
Much more information on this interesting building at www.brighamhall.info It's a shame that we have gone from three pubs in Brigham to zero over the last decade.
