Beales is closing down
Over a year after the store in Spalding closed, the giant store in Peterborough is closing.
In fact, the original Peterborough store closed when the other branches of Beales closed. In 2021 a new company bought the intellectual property, and opened a new store in Westgate House, the former co-op department house. It didn't last a year. The only remaining section open is the POSH
football shop.
