Christmas Catkins
Christmas Catkins
The Hazel tree cares not for human ceremony, or festival.

It just knows that after the shortest day the spring must come, and is determined to be ready. It is, in effect, the most reliable Christmas flower.

We are told that the birth of Christ is to bring us all hope. The Hazel gently reminds us of that in the very depths of darkness.
