St Michael's and All Angels, Garton-on-the-Wolds
Garton-on-the-Wolds is a small village a few miles west of Driffield, on the main road to York. The church of St Michael's and All Angels dates to Norman times, circa 1132, although only the tower and south wall survive from then.
At the base of the square tower is a Norman doorway with chevron carving round the arches.
