In Remembrance of the 23 inhabitants of Louth and District who passed away in the Great Flood which devastated a part of the town on Saturday May 29th 1920.
I am come into deep waters where the floods overflow me, let not the water flood overwhelm me, neither let the deep swallow me up. Psalm 69, 2 & 15

Amongst the dead were 3 children under 5 from the Berry family
