The Milestone is located back to stone wall on narrow verge on the East of the road. Parish of Denwick (Alnwick District). Cast iron post, AB bevel iron casting design, erected by the Cow-causey & Buckton-Burn turnpike trust in the 19th Century. An earlier photograph can be found here: Link
